One Awesome Track
"The Haunted House" track is one of the best I've ever heard. I use it on Halloween when giving out candy. This entire record brings back childhood memories. "Chinese Water Torture" and "Martian Monster" are hilarious! (Not that it matters, but, the cover art is spectacular!) "Screams and Groans" are taken from a Donald Duck in a haunted house cartoon.
The Classic That Set the Standard!
Nothing beats this gem of classic recordings like this Halloween must-have! Whether you want spooky sound-effects to welcome trick-or-treaters that come to your door or a creepy night's getaway with your children under the blankets with a flashlight, nothing in this genre of sound effects records comes even close--whether past or present. It surely is a delight. Kids will play it again and again. Adults will wax nostalgic. Others will be inspired by tracks 11 to 20 to create their own stories in sound. Chills and thrills are guaranteed. (Applause for Disney and iTunes for making this treasure available in digital format so people can treasure this recording without the annoying snaps and pops of dust and scratches that really plagued these special types of recordings in the past.)
