A glimpse of things to come...
A great collection of persons and sounds from the new Chimera label. Highlights include two new tracks by Yoko Ono (76 and still going!) and her "Plastic Ono Band." Sean Ono Lennon and Charlotte Kemp Muhl share duties on two tracks as "The Ghost of a Saber Tooth Tiger," while Muhl teams up with her childhood friend Eden for the delicate "Papership" and "Small Talk." Yuka Honda (of Cibo Matto) and Petra Haden come together as "If By Yes" to lay down some smooth grooves with help on "You Feel Right" from Keigo (Cornelius) Oyamada. It's expected that these groups will each release a complete album from this label in the near future. Yoko has one due in September 2009, "Between My Head and the Sky," and an EP, "Don't Stop Me!" coming out June 9th, 2009.
