An excellent dance party album!
This album is ridiculously good. I've come to expect El-P to have great taste in music (The well known all-stars of Def Jux, having The Mars Volta on his latest album, signing Del to the label, as well as his jazz work on High Water), so when I saw this band, I was quite intrigued as to what I might be getting into. I was pleasantly surprised with the previews, and subsequently, with the entire album. Latin-inspired funk with an electric tinge, almost like TMV covering Jamiroquai. Obviously, my references are a little remedial, but if you want an album you can have a lot of fun with, and add a nice addition to your next party soundtrack, this is beyond worth it. What a welcome newcomer to Definitive Jux.
I can't say this enough...
My love for Chin Chin is purely physical.

Chin Chin is a very funky and party time album. It reminds me of the music all the "big kids" listened to when i was growing up
