One of Best Albums

Wish this album wasn't so overlooked. It has the most love and soul of all of them.

Title is in reference to the first sentence, which is in my opinion utter rubbish! Erasure, 25 plus years strong, continues to set the bar as an influential band and will embark on new sounds with a studio album set for a summer/fall 2011 release. Music styles/trends tend to be cyclical, and 80's synth pop is certainly on the mend...the timing of a new Erasure album could very well be perfect - I suspect it will have a bit of a "Chorus" feel to it as well...

Following the disbandment of the short-lived synth pop group Yazoo, former Depeche Mode member Vince Clarke formed Erasure in 1985 with singer Andy Bell. Like Yaz and Depeche Mode, Erasure were a synth-based group, but they had stronger dance inclinations, as well as a sharper, more accessible sense of pop songcraft, than either of Clarke's previous bands.
