Rovi Review Wrong
The iTunes review provided by Rovi is wrong. This album is from 1986, not from the 70s, and does not feature Christmas Is. This album is not the best Johnny Mathis Christmas album. That would be the 1958 release entitled Merry Christmas. But this album does include great renditions of It's The Most Wonderful Time Of The Year, It's Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas, We Need A Little Christmas, and a medley of Caroling, Caroling and Happy Holiday. Four stars out of five.
GREAT Holiday Collection!
Johnny Mathis and Christmas are a perfect combination! This collection is second only to the classic "Merry Christmas" cd he put out in '58. Great standards, my favs are "We Need A Little Christmas" and "It's The Most Wonerful Time Of The Year". You will also notice outstanding clarity to this recording, it is an all digital recording!
