Wow
This album is stunning! My piano teacher gave this album to me as an encouragement, and it really was! My personal favourites are Ave Maria, Amazing Grace, White Christmas, and Silent Night\O Holy Night, but all of the songs (with the exception of Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer) are amazing! He finds such an interesting way of combining the songs. This music is so peaceful...well for the most part (it gets pretty intense in a few songs).
Bayless' Piano Technique Spruces Up the Holidays in Style
This tastefully done album offers lots of variety both in the content of the music titles and in the character of the musical styles explored. From religious favorites such as "O Come, All Ye, Faithful" to the Gene Autry favorites that are still around, Bayless gives us a grand tour of Christmas tunes on the piano. You'll hear hints of some classical genres as well as Tin Pan Alley sounds in a jazzy ragtime. On first hearing I thought Liberace had come back as a Ghost of Christmas. But, when I thought longer I realized that not even that master entertainer had such a clean technique of Bayless.
Simply Beautiful!
I met Mr. Bayless and He was the most kind person you will ever know... His Christmas Concert was breathtaking. This is a great buy.
