Chill Jazz Xmas Songs
I really can't believe that I am the first to write about this album. I bought this collection last year (2006) and here I am. If you are hosting a party and want some some sweet jazz backgorund music or are just chillin' in your living room with some wine, your baby, and the Xmas tree then this album is definitely the one for you. I listen to jazz nighly and this is the real deal. No (gulp) harpsicord or crap like that, just piano, drums, and bass...tastefully done and not overpowering. Enjoy..and best wishes!

Jazz pianist/arranger/composer Steve Rudolph was born in 1949 in Evansville, IN, and began as a trumpet player, before moving to the keys at he age of 22. In 1977, Rudolph was invited to tour with the acclaimed Tommy Dorsey Orchestra, during which time he played alongside the likes of Helen O'Connell and the Mills Brothers. A year later, Rudolph had relocated to Harrisburg, PA, where he became the president (and founder) of the nonprofit jazz organization Central PA Friends of Jazz. From there, he...
