Best rendition of "What Child is This?" ever
Originally released in 1980, Christmas with the Imperials is one of the classics of contemporary Christian Christmas albums. Still pretty hip to this day because of the jazz influence in many of the songs, the album holds up well. "What Child is This?" is a standout on the album.
I grew up on this stuff!
I'm not one to live in my past, but when it comes to music, I cannot deny the memories and emotions I get from listening to the Imperials bring in the Christmas season. Thanks to the people at Word for bringing back a classic!
Wonderful Christmas Album
I still have this album from the 80's and it was one of my favorite Christmas Albums. I especially love the song Christmas Praise. I was very excited to find it on iTunes.
