The Best Yet......
I downloaded "Veni, Veni Emmanuel" from this album and was thoroughly entranced by the King's Singers production of this old but great Christmas carol. After comparing the renditions of each song on the two albums (2005 and this one, 2006), I found myself being most comfortable with this newer album release. Then I looked up the biography of the King's Singers and now I can unequivocally say that I have become an ardent fan. They sing of Christmas as the angels must have sounded back then (my opinion).
Amazing
Wow, this is an amazing chistmas album, and would be great to add to any family's collection of christmas music. Very relaxing and calming.
This is Christmas
This collection is truely a work of art. The King's Singers bring you to a peaceful place where one can reflect on the holiday season, but not just this season. This music brings you back to what is pure and simple. I have not a care in the world when I listen to these gentlemen!
