4 and a Half Stars! Strong EBM cd!
This is N.F.s best full length cd. much harsher and more dance floor friendly than Moving Past the Boundries. Pulsing "Psy" synths, robotic vocoded vocals,heavy basslines and great,intelligent lyrics. what more could you ask for? best tracks are (in no particular order) Automate,Transer(great lyrics),Senseless (love the Memento samples),Vertex,Static(floor killer!),Encryption,and Downfall. the Only reason I don't give this 5 stars is because most of these tracks were released on the Static EP. Negative Format is primarily a one man band. if you like this,get Distant Pulses(very trancey) and Result of a New Culture(more old school EBM) and the Metropolis debut and current cd Moving Past the Boundries (some lovely female vocals as well as Alex's vocoded style) hope this review helps :)
Good all around EBM
This is my second purchase from N.F. and I have to admit, I like this release a bit less then "Moving past the Boundries". Nothing particularly new on this album but it is still a good all around solid EBM record. Recommended.
