like dancing in a strong wind in an open field on a warm day
Have you ever been in a innumerable crowd singing with all of the force you can shove through your lungs, reveling in the magnitude of the moment that you're honored to be a part of, knowing that if you have no voice for the next few days or weeks it's alright, because it seems that this is what your voice was created to be spent upon? That's this collection of songs.
I don't know if it's possible to make an accurate comparison to anything currently out there. There are strains of Hillsong United, but this is far less predictable musically and lyrically. There's some Jesus Culture in here, but the tone is lighter overall. I catch some Muse or Future of Forestry here and there, but these songs were meant to be sung, not studied. The overt comparison to Coldplay must be mentioned, but only because Coldplay's songs are inexplicably inspiring. One listen to Circus and you'll have no confusion as to why these songs have the power to lift you.
Ben proves that worship to a majestic God can be awesome and playful all at once. It's positively joy full.

I bought this album purely on the recommendation of a good friend. He was so right. I love it. It just picks up my spirit and is fun. This is what music should be all about. Love it and cannot recommend it enough.
