In love Again
Book of Love was Brilliant and the Myrmidons are Sterling, there sounds resound in the subconscious cool sheen of late mid 60's harmonies with the pulsating zaps of the 80's new wave making it oh so now. "What Colour is Love" is a homage to the naivety and wonder of someones first kiss in the rain or frivilous eyelash flutterings across a night club full of multi coloured lights....bliss
Book of Love 2?
For fans of Book of Love, the Myrmidons should sound very familiar. That's not surprising as 2/3 of the group comprises founding members of Book of Love. These songs are delightful, a breath of fresh air. The song What Color Is Love is over all too soon. I with it were longer.
What Color Is Love
I bought their other EP awhile ago and missed this one. What Color is Love is incredible and shouldn't be missed. Her voice is sublime-- earthy and accessible in its lower registers and then ethereal two notes later. And the syths are rich and emotive. The song ends too soon. I hope that's a teaser, because I want more.
