Most songs excellent, the rest good

One of my favorite CDs. Somehow, Mason Williams, Chip Davis, Jackson Berkey, and Mannheim Steamroller seem perfectly fitted to each others' artistic styles. This is predominantly an instrumental collection; the arrangements allow both Williams' and Steamroller's talents to shine, while all the players perform very well indeed. A "can't miss" collection!

Another Great Mannheim Production

This was the third Mannheim CD I received and first non-Christmas CD. While it may not be for Mason Williams purists, it is definitely worth checking out. The music has a depth that strikes a chord deep inside you.

A great album...then and now.

I stumbled across this in my parents cd collection a while ago and have been in love with it ever since. It really is a testament to how beautifully creative and original Mannheim Steamroller can be. It's pure, real and uncluttered; just the way good music of this genre should be.

Born in Sylvania, OH, Davis' father was a high school music teacher, while his mother was a trombonist with Phil Spitalny's All Girl Orchestra. His grandmother was his first music teacher, giving the child his initial piano lessons at the age of four; two years later, Davis composed his first piece, a four-part chorale...
