Lovely project, Saraswati dances
The musician playing in this does a really nice job, playing not only with skill but also with a lot of heart. It is said that the Veena is the instrument of choice of Goddess Saraswati, the creative power of the Universe. It is rare to find something like this, without any drums, truly soothing.
Unique and peaceful
I don't know if I would meditate every time with music but the sound wave forms of this CD are definitely purifying and peaceful. It is such an exquisite experience to come home and lay down and just immerse myself in the sounds.
Gorgeous perfection.
I love the veena. It is the most ancient Indian string instrument and the most powerful in penetrating to open the heart. Gayatri Govindarajan is a masterful musician and this record is beautifully done. As a yoga teacher this is one of the best and most helpful to my classes.
