Definitive Dubstep
Cockney Thug stands out as the definitive dubstyle anthem. The original mix bounces with a moderate clubby vibe while the Caspa edit rocks the body with the grittiest, most grinding bass that you can find in electronica and is what makes this song THE dubstep track. The Buraka Som Sistema mix relies a lot on it rythm which seems to have been tossed in almost uncaringly (and ends abruptly off beat) but the more energetic drive behind this remix still makes it a solid track.
Buy this EP, it's a piece of dubplate history.
