all i can say is that buh has done it again. they have succeeded in challenging the listener to take part on the wild ride of "collections".. from the sweet female voice of whoever that is, to the beautiful noise of "more caged". some of the obvious influences show up here too. can you hear them? i sure can and i love it! highly recommend this collection of from what i understand were throw away tracks here. if these are throw away tracks then i cannot wait for the next release..
Creates a Mood....Fantastic!
This album includes songs that transport me....it's amazing! I love music that can bring me somewhere, twirl me around, toss me in the air and land me in a state of bliss. I gravitate towards "moody" music and Blow Up Hollywood brings me to a place of reflection and contemplation that is priceless! An amazing band, a great album!!!!
A great collection of songs and compositions!
This is a great collection of music! As a long time buh fan I thought this might not live up to what I've come to expect from this group. I was afraid it just might be stuff that wasn't up to snuff to make it on their other releases. Boy, was I wrong! This CD can stand on it's own. It's got everything from great vocal pieces, (love the addition of the female vocalist) as well as outstanding instrumentals. A very electric mix of music here. Two thumbs up!!!
