I N V E N T I V E
I'll keep this short and sweet, even though I could write a book. S.H.E's style in sound is something I've never heard before. I must say, I was instantly hooked after "Coloris". It's like your broken gameboy has come to life and is singing electric dance melodies you can't get enough of. I absolutely love this artist, and I can't wait to hear more.
She is a he
As a few reviewers have mentioned this is "She" not "S.H.E.", a chiptune artist that primarily uses the gameboy to generate most sounds (which are then mixed and combined) to make wonderful music. I would check out both the official myspace, the official page, or the Last.fm page to get a preview of the sound. Support it if you like it and purchase it here. Also, "She" is just a moniker, and the creator is in fact a male. Chances are if you are reading this review you probably already love this artist, but he is definitely one of the best in the genre. Every album has a distinctly different style, but all share the unique chip style that is lain's. Traveling By Night would definitely come recommended from this album in particular.
miscaterogized!!
First of all, this album is amazing. Download it for free from the official she myspace page. You will listen to it nonstop for days. That said, this album does not belong here. S.H.E. is a Taiwanese girl group and is *not* the same artist as she, the creator of the fantastic electro-crunch dance music. ITUNES, PLEASE WAKE UP!
