Album Review

Max Stalling's Comfort in the Curves introduces his brand of appealingly rock-tinged country music. Stalling's plaintive, twangy vocals add an extra touch of authenticity to songs like "I-35," "Might Have Been in Austin," and "Look in My Past," which all demonstrate his ability to write genuine yet accessible songs.

Customer Reviews

A cd full of great Songs !

Every cut on this album is worthy of air play and all who give Mr. Stalling's work a try will find him to be a great writer as well as singer . I-35 is a great song of exodus , Times hand In Your Pocket , a poem and I find Sparks to be one of the best cowboy songs ever written . Max is one of Texas's best singer/songwritters and all who know him and his music are much the better for it .

Max

If you like the song writing style of James Taylor and the more folk side of "country" music, you will fall in LOVE with Max! Buy it! you won't regret it! Even for those who are not fans of country music, Max appeals to fans of the great story telling songs of the late '70's (ie Carol King, Dan Fogelberg, Loggins and Messina).

Smooth

smooth max makes u want to buy land in the country and sit on the front porch swing and enjoy life
