Album Review
Well known today as a composer for the stage, Cy Coleman was once a jazz pianist of some distinction, although he was more a melodic interpreter than a dazzling improviser. This 1963 release is a trio date, with Coleman putting his spin on venerable songs like "Green Dolphin Street" and "There Will Never Be Another You," backed by bassist Ben Tucker and drummer Grady Tate.
