Live Version is Great
I saw this band in Seattle at an Irish pub and they put on one hell of a show. I was hooked from the first song. This live CD brings back the fantastic memories of that night that many pints of beer had previously clouded. Do yourself a favor, download this CD and it will put a smile on your face. Then you will want to look for when and where this band is going to be performing live. It may just be at your local Irish pub. Cheers to the The Town Pants!!!!
Fun
They do the only version of Galway Girl that I could find with any serious energy behind it, which is how it should sound I think! I'd like to see them live!
The Town Pants are AWESOME!
I heard the Town Pants live at the 2010 North Texas Irish Festival, and I've been obsessed ever since. I bought three of their CDs that day and have loved them all. "Coming Home" is my favorite. The eneregy from the live recording translates nicely. I was about to start listing all of my favorite songs and then I realized that I love them all. I can listen to this CD from beginning to end and not have the urge to skip a song. If you just want to try a couple out first, just to get a taste, then I recommend Come With Me, Coming Home, and OF COURSE Galway Girl. Then you'll instantly want the rest of the CD, and you'll come back for it. Enjoy!
