Client is back and a bit darker in all the right ways
Command is Client's most consistent album, each song is driving, lyrically balanced and a bit darker in all the right ways. Their last album had a couple killer tracks but a lot of it really fell flat for me. City and their debut fared much better but had their uneven moments. Command shows that Client is hardly on the wane but embracing their strengths and focusing their sound. The guitar is a welcome addition. The album is a good listen front to back with just enough of the familiar Client style and hints of DM. Standout tracks: Can You Feel? Your Love is like Petrol. Blackheart. Lullaby.
In Command
This sultry British trio return in full force with their newest release. Command is vintage Client with a greater focus on upbeat tempos and intricate programming. The songwriting is top notch with climactic chorus' abound. There are numerous catchy hooks that will keep you hypnotized without warning. Superb release from this highly creative & energetic female ensemble. A must have 4 all electro-clash aficionados.
