Excellent music, BUT censored on iTunes
Commentary! is an amazing byproduct of an equally amazing show. It's rare for a sequel to equal the original in quality, but for a commentary track to do so? I think it's safe to say this is a first.
HOWEVER, the version on iTunes has a lot of words bleeped out, with no warning that the version you're buying is a censored version, and no way to report the problem or get your money back once you realize that what you bought isn't what you thought you were buying. This kind of bait-and-switch is shameful.
Even Better Than The Movie
I love the Dr. Horrible 'movie' and watched each segment as it came out at mignight. But I've come to love Commentary! even more. The songs are hilarious, the melodies are fun and varied, and Simon plays this incredible piano piece. It really is a fantastic standalone piece. Don't really just think of this as a commentary about Dr. Horrible with a bit of music thrown in -- it is a great piece of music in its own right. You won't be disappointed.
