As their best album, Connected has held up very well in the 16 yrs since it was released. The electronic sounds of the title track, Ground Level" and "Step It Up" are so contemporary that they could be released today and go to No.1. This is a great place to start your love of Stereo MCs, and if you like it, keep on going!
