Cool EP

It's not a full record It's an EP so relax. I think the white stripes are entitled to have a little fun. They recorded this stuff in Beck's home studio and pulled the mariachi band right off the street. Jack White did a neat interview on public radio about the EPs and it is something that every white stripes fan should check out.

THE WHITE STRIPES are real music

All you douchebags need to stop listening to Green Day and Nickelback and listen to some real music.

Amazing Stuff.. NO Filler Here

Its very kind of the Stripes to offer us up this tender trio of new offerings with their good friend Beck Hanson. That we are all left slightly wounded and the sting of the wound is still fresh is soon forgotten with the first listen. This is a great bandage that will offer a temporary numbing of the pain of the tour that should have been. "Its My Fault For Being Famous" is a great statement as to the absurdity of the modern age, with paid hunters stealing the privacy of anyone who is paid to be intersting. Jack offers up a great solution.. a laptop computer to the head of the the thoughtless nameless paparrazo. Becks backing vocals are a lovely compliment. The mariachi version of Conquest is a great arrangement in the traditional sense. Fun and full of joy.. it would be the better accompaniment to the absurdly clever video. Lets hope we see the Stripes on the road soon.. god speed Jack and Meg.. and THANK YOU.

Meg's drumming was deliberate and straightforward, while Jack's formidable guitar skills paid homage to garage rock, blues, and punk. A former drummer for the Detroit-based country outfit Goober & the Peas, he also displayed an affinity for American folk music, and the White Stripes took strength in the varied...
