This is it!!
I heard these guys at the Fillmore in San Francisco and freaked out. I'm too old and jaded to go to the dance clubs that pump out mechanized beats with no character. These guys combine the sensibilities of Carnival Side Show, jazz trumpet, dub-step beats, and dirty funky sexiness. They also bring along with them the most unbelievably sexy belly dancer. All their albums are fantastic. I particularly like this E.P. Just listen to Oriental Uno and you'll get the flavor. Every time I put it on at a party, and I mean every time, someone asks, "Who is this?? It's amazing."
Contraption
This is my favorite Beats Antique piece so far...it's a perfect balance between beats, breaks, balkan and middle eastern influence. I even hear classical and marching bands from time to time! Awesome!! I love Beats Antique because their music always takes me to an unexpected place, just to find out that it's exactly where I want to go. Keep creating beautiful beats, please!
