Moody & engaging
I hate it when the previews don't do justice to the music. This is one of those cases. It's got all the elements and nuances of a great score, but you have to listen to more than the 30-second previews to get that full impact. It has a slightly Middle-Eastern flavor to parts of it, which is a very nice twist. This just moved to the top of my "currently listening to..." playlist, along with Kerry Muzzey, Patrick Doyle, and a new score by Bennett Salvay. Start downloadin'!!
Rich Strlngs and Piano
I really like some of these tracks, especially 1, 3 and 5. I would have bought the whole album if there weren't so many short tracks. If you're looking for this kind of music with longer tracks, try Josh Kramer's Beginnings and Only Memories albums (my favorite), as well as Rachel Portman's Never Let Me Go, and Abel Korzeniowski's A Single Man. All are worthy of a spot on your iPod.
Fantastic Score!
The music for this film is just incredible, and the movie is equally moving. If you haven't seen it, go rent it!
