different sound, same great music
I admit, I was skeptical about this new song at first listen. not because it's a bad track, but it's not the Pretty Ricky we're used to. however, I gave it a few more tries & this song has REALLY grown on me. I absolutely love the lyrics; they're very meaningful & unlike most songs, they're raising women up instead of putting them down. the concept is very unique & hasn't been visited before. I urge you to give this song a chance & put your preconceived notions aside, you'll be glad you did. after hearing this song I can't wait for Pretty Ricky's new album! I'll definitely be purchasing that one.
Love It
I'm BSF and I Love Pretty Ricky, but I don't even by singles like that. I buy albums or nothing at all. I bought this at first sight though! "Cookie cutter, Cookie Cookie Cutter!" Love It!
Big Disappointment
When Pretty Ricky first came out I instantly fell in love with them -- especially Slick'Em (wink, wink) -- and their music. They were the best at making freak music. Now, I'm not so certain. I was with them on "Bluestars" and I stayed with them on "Late Night Special" I was even there for "Pretty Ricky," but this new single is abominable. If they are not ashamed of this single, then I am. I expect so much more from them, and I was let down yet again. I only say this becuase I am a true fan and I believe that they can do better. It seems ever since Pleasure left or got kicked out whatever they lost their sparkle. Pleasure did not make the group, Slick'Em, BabyBlu, Spectacular AND Pleasure made the group .. so maybe the orignal members should just make-up and start making hit music again or give it up and go get a nine - five. They have to see each other at the next family reunion anyways.
