Cool Song

Glad to finally find it on itunes. I cannot wait for more new music from the album. It doesn't sound like other Thursday songs to me, but it shows that the band is willing to modify its sound evolve. Awesome effort.

amazing

this song combines the raw energy of watching one of their live performances and also the lyrical presence and emotion shown in the previous efforts of "waiting" and "full collapse," with the experienced and ever-evolving songwriting shown in "war all the time." "counting 5-4-3-2-1" is evidence of thursday being at the top of their game

Don't hate....Appreciate!

From what I can hear I think Thursday has taken a necessary step forward musically if they want to stay in the music business. While "Full Collapse" is just about the best CD this band has to offer right now, "Counting 54321" shows an experimental side from the band yet still retains some elements from War All The Time. Geoff's vocals have gotten better, haven't heard any screaming, and not as nasal sounding. Unfortunately, like Thrice, Thursday is rolling the dice on this one and multiple letdowns are just inevitable, but you gotta give them props for attempting to create a new sound because they do it well in my opinion.
