Album Review
El Mejor de Freddy Fender, Vol. 2, like its predecessor, collects some of Fender's best and most popular Spanish-language songs, as well as the major portion of the disc, re-recordings of some of his English-language hits in Spanish. It's an affordable, budget-priced way for Spanish-speaking listeners to have more accessible versions of some of his best material, even if the production sounds rather cheap and the performances not quite as inspired as on the original versions.
