For any Flaming Lips fan...
This Borderline cover is completely amazing. The :30 preview doesn't give it justice as they turn a cute pop classic into a total epic recording. Who knew what an amazing song this was? Wayne kicks you in the gut with his vocal (heartbreaking) and when the thing hits 3:30 it becomes the most beautiful melodic middle eight, then swerves psychedlic as we hoped it would. Freaking mindblowing, as they usually are.
Borderline is Redonkulous
Honestly, if this does not prove the genius of the lips then nothing will. I think I cried myself to sleep after this one. Buy the song and close your eyes. Wow!!!!
