My new anthem!!!
This song is definitely perfect for anyone who has ever changed to fit in. At a young age, Anna's already figured out that it's better to be yourself. This song is amazing, and has a slightly different sound from her others. It just goes to show there's nothing she can't do!
Watch this girl
At 11 years old (or so), Anna Graceman is already showing a level of insight and sophistication reserved for songwriters 2 or 3 times her age. The driving piano accompaniment of this acoustic version (of "Crazy World") is raw and miles better than the generic sounding studio version. Her sound is reminiscent of Vanessa Carlton or Sara Bareilles, and her voice -- while still young and a little rough around the edges (in the best possible way) -- is engaging and soulful. I look forward to hearing more from her as she evolves as a both a performer and songwriter.
