Featuring the tune from 100 Monkeys’ latest video, “Sleeping Giants”, Creative Control: Live Sessions is seven tunes that demonstrate the developmental nature of the band. From the smoky jazz of “Gus”, which is one of the group’s older pieces, to “Dirty Jam on Toast”, which is pure jam through and through, 100 Monkeys gives us musicianship with an experimental flair. This album is not about postproduction. It is about lyrics. It is about musical artistry. It is about unleashed creativity. It is another look into the bright future of these men.
Amazing!
I totally love 100 monkeys! They are absolutely incredible and put on an AMAZING live show. This and Monster de lux are two of my favorite albums right now. Their music is so unique and incredible, you don't hear music like this on the radio anymore, its all bubblegum pop. I would recommend Gus, No More, Sleeping Giants and Dirty Jam on Toast (even though i love them all!) Take a few minutes and listen to this amazing style of music and buy it. You won't regret it!!!!!
