Old and New
This album reminds me a lot of alternative from the 90's and alternative from today. But this record has a lot of spunk and spirit. It's got more teeth than a lot of stuff out today, and more heart. Chapter, Verse is reminds me a bit of Cage the Elephant. The single Twin Victory has some really cool off beat tricks, a really welcome change of pace in alternative these days. The only drawback is the singer seems to be a little drowned out, which is probably a choice they made. Maybe next record this could be improved upon. But if you're looking for something exciting but still a little familiar, I really recommend this record.
