First...wow

Can't believe no one has bothered to write a review for this. Great cd all of Rob's solo stuff is grade A, Crystal, Wrath of God, Sun, Trail of tears, and Betrayal are all very hard hitters and definatly the best but the whole album is amazing. he put his soul into this one along with the others if you like check the others out too.

Review Number Two?

I second the "First" reviewers post! Top notch through and through, although I hated the Judas Priest - Rob Halford split, I feel as though we got to exceptional bands out of the break up. Halford took Priest up a notch in heavy, and in sludge, while Priest got faster, and sharper! At $7.99 it's a steal, besides what else are you gonna buy,the new Stone Temple Pilots, Nickleback, or insert any crap band here...LONG LIVE METAL! DIO R.I.P.

Much heavier

Halford 1 brought Rob Halford back into the realm of main stream metal and Crucible moves his band to the next level: heavier riffs, scorching lyrics and incredible lyrical content.

Being an original Priest fan, the only thing that let me down with their music was the fact that the lyrics don't always carry a lot of meaning...just cool metal sounding words put together. Rob (in Halford) actually writes about current events and concerns that are real...and that's valuable to me.

If you don't own this, BUY IT: it is an absolute steal at $7.99. Be ready, though: your ears will never be the same!!!

As the incomparable voice of thrashing beast Judas Priest, Rob Halford defined the role of the metal frontman. After his unamiable departure from the British juggernaut, Halford formed Fight with Priest drummer-come-lately Scott Travis. Fight released three powerful records, Halford straining to remain the masthead of the heavy rock movement he created. Two, a trendy electro-exercise with Trent Reznor, took two steps back on the misguided Voyeurs. Halford returned to his roots and formed a new unit,...
