Kelly Clarkson will always be remembered as the first American Idol winner, but thanks to her powerful voice, bold vision and sparkling charisma, she’s also a bona fide pop star. Her third full-length, My December, featured Clarkson taking control of the reins in new ways — writing or co-writing the majority of the rock-tinged album — and the release of All I Ever Wanted marks another chapter in her evolution. Lead single and album opener, “My Life Would Suck Without You,” thumps with a propulsive dance beat that gets painted by the Texas native’s sincere vocal delivery before kicking into high gear with a monstrous chorus. This upbeat energy is woven throughout the album — including a sassy chorus on guitar-driven, Katy Perry-written, “I Do Not Hook Up;” punk rock “Whyyawannabringmedown;” and club-ready “If I Can’t Have You,” written by Clarkson and OneRepublic’s Ryan Tedder. Softer moments resonate just as powerfully, especially on piano ballad “Already Gone” — another beautiful Clarkson and Tedder partnership.

1.MLWSWY - The first single makes you say "Yeay Kelly's Back!"
It's fun, flirty, and Sweet as candy. It doesn't showcase Kelly's voice enough but at the same time it gives you a tease of what's to come which is Ama-Za-Zing!! 8.5/10
2.I Do Not Hook Up - Kelly rocks out on an "anthem" like track where she simply states " I'm not a one night stand type of girl" She sounds amazing and puts her own spin on a previous Katy Perry demo. (Which I think was a great choice for kelly.) Her vocals are just ridiculously GREAT! 9/10
3.Cry - Def one of my favorites. A perfect 10. Kelly's vocals once again are brilliant and
the song was written by her which makes it even better! She def had me cryin'for a minute there. Beautiful! 10/10
4.Don't Let Me Stop You - It's what you call a "Kelly Song" you hear it and you know it's her. In the first 5 seconds of the opening It reminds me of BTHE, but it quickly becomes it's own song. It's a lil rock and a lil pop mixed in with Kelly's voice and personality which makes it a great track 9/10
5.All I Ever Wanted- This is different for Kelly. Good different that is. She already proved how high she can sing but in the verses of this song she takes it down a notch and simply sings it trough without effort but manages to sound great. A song about breakup but not in a bitter way. She sings out that All she ever wanted was a simple way to get over someone. and mannn don't we all ;) 9.5/10
6.Already Gone - Haunting! When it comes to these songs Kelly brings out the emotions in a way that only she can. Even though you love someone so much, sometimes you just have to let them go without turning back. -there's no moving on, I'm already gone! 10/10
7.If I Can't Have You - kelly herself said that this song is a little killers and a little Eurithmics. Ok, yeah, I can see that. I love both bands I can hear the influence of both and I'm diggin it! it's fast and technoish/danceish/rockish 9/10
8.Save You - A sad song but Another one of those that have Kelly sound hauntingly beautiful. 9.5/10
9.Whyyouwannabringmedown - LOVE IT!!! This proves that Kelly is a rocker at heart and can sing anygoddamnthingshewants!DEF a Favorite!! She sounds F'n FANTASTIC-O! 10/10
10.Long Shot - Another Katy Perry Demo that has Kelly singings CIRCULS around Perry! Sorry Katy fans but Kelly's Def got the points for this one (and Hook up too.) Her voice was made for these types of songs....and everythings else lol 10/10
11.Impossible - A kelly written track, very inspiring, honest and basically saying that just because something may seem impossible doesn't mean it's not possible. I would assume that this song is talking about the hardships that Kelly faced during "My December". You did it girl and you went platinum so it's possible!! 9.5/10
12.Ready - This Demo was going around for a while but sounded a little different but Kelly and tedder made this song sound so cute and fun! I absoultely love it! It has a little bit of soul which is always nice to hear from kelly. 9.5/10
13.I Want you - Perfect song to come after "ready" with a lil more soul and some Duffy on top! This is another one of my faves. I love hearing kelly do these types of songs because it's so fitting with her fun girl next door personality. 10/10
14.If No One Will Listen - Kelly sounds beautiful on this song. It's not a fave because it feels a little "old" and 106.7ish but you know what? it's insporational and again she sounds great 8/10
15.The Day We Fell Apart - This almost feels like it was supposed to be on MD but made it's way to AIEW which is cool. It's got a heavy rock sound and it def has some edge. 9/10
16.Tip of My Tongue - A Pop/R&B Track Which is, again, kind of a different sound for Kelly but yet she manages to take control and kill it! The beat is HOT! 9/10
17.Can We Go Back - The Rocker in Kelly Makes this song awesome! 9/10
Overall ( A + ) I have to say that this album is FLAWLESS! I've been a fan since the very beginning (ducka ducka ducka anyone?) you can def see that Kelly has grown and matured into an even more beautiful, talented, young woman. Congrats Kelly you just keep getting better & better!! This is def my favorite Kelly Record!
There's Something for Everyone!
If people are looking for the old hard rocking Clarkson than sorry to say but you won’t find much here, there’s like 2 or 3 tracks that really hit those heavy cords and quite frankly I didn't find them great. Also, there seems to be a few tracks that seem to take beats/inspiration from songs that are already/has been on the airwaves. Otherwise, the record basks in Clarkson's maturity, vocally and professionally and has nonetheless created an enjoyable record for everyone, with some definite standout tracks. Below I’ll be nitpicking a few tracks but will mostly focus on my favorites that I’d recommend.

2. I Do Not Hook Up, which has a very reminiscing vibe to her 2004 smash hit “Since You’ve Been Gone,” is as or if not more catchy than SYBG. The more you listen to it, the more addicting it gets. 5/5
10. Love Shot, amore fast paced song compared to any other track on the album but the beat is pure pop perfection at it’s best. Katy is a genius when writing hooks! It has that added old and new vibe that makes the track unique. One of the best tracks! 10/5!!!

Ryan Tedder helmed tracks:
06. Already Gone, 1 nitpick, the beat is a total rip from Beyonce’s “Halo” [who was also helmed by Tedder] but with the bass at minimal level. That said, I have to say I much preferred Clarkson’s song. It’s smoother and less head aching to sit through. A that haunting vibe if you listen to it at the right time of night but has the lyrics that will make you want to tear up. 5/5
07. If I Can’t Have You, okay I have 2 things to nitpick about this track (1) the intro is exactly identical to Miley Cyrus’s “Fly on the Wall” (2) this overall track sounds like The Veronica’s and Cyrus did a one time duet. Now that that’s out of the way, the track is nonetheless good. It’s a download if you like either of the artists I’ve mentioned above otherwise it’s a song you can leave off the Purchase List. 3.5/5
08. Save You, if you loved “Sober” from My December than this is a must buy. It’s a very impressive track that I feel is an upgrade from “Sober.” The lyrics I feel are better written here with less of the pauses that I felt made “Sober” seem unnecessarily lengthy. 5/5
11. Impossible, it has it’s rock and mellow moments but the lyrics and vocals really are the highlight of this track, it shines maturity and sophistication in Clarkson from any of her previous work. 4/5
15. Tip of My Tongue, it’s a track you’ll have to take a chance on, it’s very different from anything you have ever heard from Clarkson, it has a more mature and urban vibe to it. 5/5

16. The Day We Fell Apart, the track really highlights Clarkson’s vocal chops and the places where her pitch syncs perfectly with the electric guitar is really something you have to listen for yourself. 5/5
17. Can We Go, if you loved Carrie Underwood’s “Before He Cheats” then this is the perfect song for you. It’s more of a sequel/prequel to the mentioned song than “Last Name” will ever be IMO. Sadly, you will never get the chance to buy it since it was only a Pre-Order track :[. 5/5

To wrap things up, buy it if you’re already a KC fan because you’ll definitely not be disappointed but if you’re a newbie wanting to experiment than this album is perfect too. If you’re like me who can’t just jump into something new too quickly I’d recommend buying:
