This is DUB

C'mon people, this is Dub music. You shouldn't expect what you think to be typical Puscifer. You shouldn't be bashing this creation because you don't understand it. Dub is mixed up, chopped and rendered music, so if you like that type of music then you'll like it. Besides these tracks are for chilling-out, they have a very reggae feel to them. Personally, if you have an openmind toward music I would say, give it a listen. But if you come here expecting TOOL, then go listen to TOOL... I say sorry for the mindless bashing that's been happening here, because in it's own respect this album is a triumph. Two-thumbs up Lustmord!

While one might imagine Maynard James Keenan would have enough going on to keep him busy as a frontman with the groups Tool and A Perfect Circle, in 2007 he decided to record an album under yet another name with Puscifer. Described by Keenan as "the space where my Id, Ego, and Anima all come together to exchange cookie recipes," Puscifer first appeared as the name of a fictional band Keenan fronted in a cameo on the HBO sketch comedy series Mr. Show in 1995.
