Customer Reviews

Telling how it is.

wow! krs-one does it again. this veteran MC, right here everyone is what defines true hip-hop. i know everybody might like to bump-n-grind to mainstream hip hop but people must respect the great MCs out there, some mainstream, others like krs-one, who like to stay true to the underground. i really enjoy his message he send out to the kids out there and truly is a bomb lyricist. everyone who wrote insignificant things as a review, please take your nasty remarks somewhere else. For all the hip-hop heads i recommend for you to purchase this album b-cuz it trully is what hip-hop is all about.

PURE HIPHOP IN ITS FORM......

Its hiphop in its pures form, Lryics that make sense, and beats that are funky, and basslines with flow, KRS-ONE has been in the musicmakin hiphop business sense it all started. Alot of youngkats dont understand, that a catchyhook and a 808base drum and a tight snare is hiphop, guess again. KRS-ONE raps with messages, and if you listen close, you can learn the history, pain and struggle of hiphop music and why it will never die...

Truth Hurts

Krs is tellin it how it is. Hip hop is in a bad state right now and someone needs to step up and say somthing. Right now as long as you have a GRill and a Skull cap, you can be a rap superstar. is that all it takes? also, when did rap = Gangster?

Around the time of 1990's Edutainment, BDP's audience began to slip as many fans thought his raps were becoming preachy. As a reaction, KRS-One began to re-establish his street credibility with...
