Spearheaded by former Chiodos frontman Craig Owens and featuring members of Matchbook Romance, Story of the Year, Underminded, and From First to Last, post-hardcore supergroup Destroy Rebuild Until God Shows make their debut on D.R.U.G.S. With such a seasoned lineup at Owens’ disposal, it’s no surprise that the album is incredibly polished, with production that blurs the line between heavy-hitting rock and slick pop. With electronic excursions, dubstep-influenced breaks, and studio wizardry around every corner, fans of Owens, and really any of the bands involved, will probably find something to like here.

D.R.U.G.S. are addicting
With a scene that seems to have lost almost all semblance of originality recently, it is gratifying to see a band that pays tribute to their predecessors (a la The Used, Chiodos [obviously], and so forth), while still maintaining a unique sound. The album has something for everyone, from their dark, powerful, and loud single "If You Think This Song Is About You, It Probably Is" to the melodic gem "I'm Here to Take the Sky" and everything in between. To be honest, I think that Craig's vocals are phenomenal and miles ahead of anything he did with Chiodos. I'm glad to see these guys have put out a very solid record. I guarantee you that I will have this album on repeat in my earbuds for the next few weeks.

This album is undeniably fantastic and better than Chiodos ever was!! All the songs are great especially Mr. Owl ate my metal worm! Which is a palindrome if anyone didn't know...
