FATTY FOR THE WIN!

Fatty, who made her first big splash into the Nerdcore scene with her WoW Idle winning song "/Nerdcore" has finally come out with her debut EP, "Daily Heroic", and what a win it is. "The Hype" is a funky opening track concerning how lesbians and the straight girls who flirt with them. "Mild Thing" provides a dark twist on the childrens book "Where The Wild Things Are", incorporating real life events. However, "Arachnoflowbia" is the standout track by far, sporting a slimy beat and lyrics that could put the most popular of rap-artists to shame. "Aggro!" matches it's title, where Fatty expresses her angers with, among other things, n00bs and the fat that no one can seem to tell what her gender is. The last track, "Daily Heroic" is a beautiful song, sporting lyrics that could move even the most stubborn of nerdcore bloggers. This is an incredible album, and I can't wait to see more from her. Oh, and for everyone on the internet who just doesn't get it, SHE'S A WOMAN!

A stand-out rapper...

...with an outstanding debut EP. Unlike a lot of rappers who get lumped into the "nerdcore" subgenre (ehhh), Fatty posesses severe flow and a real talent for writing songs that run much deeper than nerd-culture references. This album kicks hard and is a great companion for subway rides, long walks through darkened city streets, or even just nights where you sit down with a beer and kick back after a long day grinding through life. If you're looking for some new hot rap ish, check out this EP for really real.

Fatty FTW!

Fatty is the first rapper who I've really believed. She's not rapping about the hos that be trippin' her or how she's going to seek revenge on everyone in the gang rival to hers (although there some mention of a beef with some bovine character on World of Warcraft.) Fatty is real, and she's just rapping her message for everyone to hear. People who are too busy listening to the next one hit wonder who will make some rhymes with unsubtle references to body parts are missing out on music that shows what it is to really feel like all you have is your music and the people who love you.
