Damages (Music from the Original Television Series)

Extremely Good!

     

I am very happy that "Damages" finally came out with a soundtrack. I absolutely love this show. And this current season (season 4) is the best so far after the first season. "Now on to the music" - the music for this soundtrack is both hip and cutthroat at the same time.

Hip being "You're Gonna Get It", "Breakin' the Chains of Love", "The Gold", "Afrological", and "Un Poco" (which means "A Little" in Spanish).

Cutthroat being "When I Am Through With You", the infamous theme for the entire show - the rendition of that song on this soundtrack is the best version I have heard The VLA do, and I have heard at least two different version by them for this song; the version on this album is the best. It is true that the lyrics are mostly the same for all versions, but on this one they do add a lot of extra energy and a few more background vocals than they have on their early versions for this song.

"We're Not Gonna Take It" and "Girls Just Want to Have Fun" are nice laid back songs that I could listen to anytime I just wanted to sit back and relax.

This album is a good fit for anyone looking for some pizzazz in a soundtrack.
