A remarkable shot from the hip of my RCA!
I love Attack Cat. They add a nice variety to my music selection. It's Dave Douglass (former drummer of Relient K) so I pretty much have to like it. I mean, he signed my shirt once and said I was "cool" for crying out loud! That was the highlight of my life in 2005. I really do love these 5 songs. Dave and Rachel's Dandy Outlaws has a few different styles: "remarkable" is a ballad, "shoot from the hip" reminds me of a classic rock song for some reason, and "rca," "tricks," and "you want me crazy" to me seem to be the core of Attack Cat (their defining sound. If someone asked me to show them a song that defined Attack Cat, I'd probably show them RCA.)
Good job Attack Cat.
Dave is Awesome
I was pretty upset when Dave left Relient k, he is one of the best drummers ever, but this pretty much makes up for it. What an awesome EP, such great music.
