Good clean fun

The movie was a wonderful documentry that I think a confused a lot of people because it was not about Dave Chapelle at all. However, it did give me a better outlook on hip hop in general. I am so tired of the kind of trash the radio plays about big butts and gold teeth. It's so fake and temporary. This collection re-introduced me to some quality artist that will out last all of the current dribble. The best song on here is by the Dead Prez. I don't normally listen to rap these days but good music trancends all genre, and this is simply good music.

where are the fugees?

a very good cd. Just a little upset that they did not have the fugees on here like they did in the movie. Killing Me Softly in this movie was the best version I have heard

true hip hop

Chappelle puts together a group of artists dedicated to making true hip hop music, and Talib Kweli, Mos Def, and Common are some of the best in the game. Sadly, most people dont give them the credit they deserve. This is real music. Excellent.
