Gaelic lives!

This album represents some of the most well spent money in my Library. Sure only a few of the songs are in Gaelic, but it's still from a truly revolutionary band. The music is all good, but the true highlights are Faileas Air an Airigh, Book of Golden Stories, Protect and Survive, Big Sky, and best of all, Hearts of Olden Glory. This is one of my favorite albums ever.

Runrig - best band in the world!

If you enjoyed this, there is a whole back catalog to enjoy. If you have any Celtic blood in your veins you will enjoy this music. I have been listening to Runrig for 25 years and they just keep getting better. Latest frontman, Bruce Guthro, has been a revelation. The brothers McDonald, Rory and Callum, are the heart and soul of the band and have a gift for songwriting. This collection, recorded live at Stirling Castle is a fabulous collection of their 30 years in the business, enjoy!

A great example of one of Scotlands great bands!

This collection is missing a version of Loch Lommond but that can be found on other albums. This is an enjoyable collection of Runrig's music over the past three decades. Runrig is at their best live and if you are a first time listener, you will enjoy this album. Take the high road!
