Good stuff
I'm glad I got the deluxe version because the documentary was awesome. I've been listening to these guys for awhile, even seen them once back when they were touring SWYA. But I never knew there story. Chris is an introspective guy, and he does a great job explaining "where he was at" when he wrote all the albums. He also introduces his new bandmates. It's a semi-philosophical, 20-some minute documentary that I highly recommend to anyone. As far as the album, it's Saves The Day. If you like this band, you'll like this album. It's not a dark album like Sound The Alarm & Under The Boards. Chris is happier and you can hear it in his vocals. And I really like the electric versions of Stay & Hold. Buy the deluxe if you have the cash. Its worth the extra couple dollars.

Today 9/13 makes a year that i lost my father. I didn't know how to feel about it but after hearing daybreak and understanding how its Chris's way of saying things will be alright and you as a person can find the good in this world though the pain. Great effort, Daybreak is a 10 min saga of epicness.
Pleasantly Surprised
I'm not going to lie, I didn't like Sound the Alarm or Under the Boards very much, and really only bought this album out of my respect for Chris, but I was very surprised at how much I liked it. Getting the deluxe album with Daybreak is a must, that song is radtacular.
