Another Great Album

I've been a fan of Steve Carlson since I first heard him play with Christian Kane (Another great singer!! Check out his EP on iTunes.). Steve's newest album is another masterpiece. Every song is great and you can listen to them over and over again. I highly recommend this album and his other album for that matter to anyone that just wants to listen to good music.

Days Behind

Days Behind is Steve Carlson's fifth independent studio album.
I met Steve Carlson at the House of Blues in Cleveland when he played with his long time friend Christian Kane in the band they formed together called Kane. I came for the cowboy-eye-candy because they were opening for Eric Church BUT I found myself completely captivated by Steve's power to be in total communion with each and every note as he played. Steve's ability to combine brutally honest lyrics with crafty back beats can keep even the modestly curious - easily attracted to his music. Carlson can get you singing to the steering wheel like Lenny Kravitz or even Prince. He also isn't afraid to break out the brass just like Dave Matthews.
In Days Behind Steve takes you on a journey with his musical family of Darren & Rosalee Sher. I can't help but ask myself just who is he talking to in "Don't Go", who got on his bad side in "The Good Life" and just where will he go from here in title track "Days Behind". Either way, I am left hungry for more...so buy the album if you haven't already!

Fantastic

I am not familiar with a lot of Steve Carlson's work, as I just discovered him at a concert in London yesterday, but he is an amazing talent and this album encompasses that. In addition, to his own lead vocals he has the support of some great backup in Rosalee. Love the album and would recommend it to anyone who has just discovered Steve Carlson or one of his fans.
