James Otto is a hidden treasure

New comer, James Otto is one of the best talents to come out of Nashville and on to the country music scene in a long time. With soothing rhythms and thoughtful, heartfelt lyrics, Otto places himself on the road that many have set out to find but few have found. It was this talent for song writing that caused Shania Twain to ask him to open shows on the U.S. leg of her 2003-2004 Up! tour. This album is a must have for any music lover. Though slow and unmemorable in parts (the only reason for a four star ranking), songs such as, "Song of the violin," "She knows," and the title track, "Days of our lives,” set this album apart from much of the same country music heard so often. One can only hope that this is not the last we will hear from James Otto.

Outstanding.

James is one of those rare artists that I've been able to "blindly" buy the music of and have no doubt that I will be satisfied. If you see his name on it you are guaranteed a great lyric and a great sound; so buy 'em up, he's too good to pass up.

Wow!

this is what true country is. he has a very eligant voice. your only lucky if you have a voice as good as his!

Both his father and grandfather were part-time musicians who played gigs in local bars, so music was hardly a foreign thing to Otto,...
