A keeper
An album that can be listened to repeatedly, and the more you listen the more you like it. Famous artists pour out their heart in simple folk tunes. For example Ellis Unit One, by Steve Earl, is the tale of a prison guard who's job it is to strap people down for the death penalty, while college kids come down to watch and drink beer. Lots of guitar, clear untouched vocals and honest tunes.

Credits are due to a great voice...
FWIW, credit for "Face of Love" is also due to Late Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan Saheb - a great Sufi singer from Pakistan. While Ali Khan was a Pakistani singer, his voice has moved mountains all across the world and in India he is considered a grand master of Hindoostani Classical music. I hope someone corrects this and I believe Eddie Vedder would also want this to be known.
