Dead Planet is Dead On

Released only a month after his former band released the killer "Era Vulgaris", Nick Oliveri's Mondo Generator matched the blow and landed a right hook. This album is very killer and the best of the Mondo Generator catelog. This particular record was released in the UK last year and can be found on ITunes. That being said, get this version as it contains three additional tracks not on the UK release. Listen to this album along with Era Vulgaris and it is like Nick never left QOTSA. This is a very cool rock record and should get the same rave reviews that his buddies in QOTSA received for "Era". Long live Mondo and Queens!

Mondo = OK

Drug problem was a great album. For the other reviewer that had to bash on Homme grow up! These bands are totally different. The Queens have only gotten better while Nick is still stuck in the past and evidently you are too. Don't be a hater.

very good album

This album is strong throughout. I had heard a couple of the songs that are re-recorded from his older albums, but the new versions sound better. Like A Bomb, So High, S.S.M.T, and Paper Thin all qualify as some of my favorite mondo tracks. I actually have enjoyed his breakup from queens cuz now i can listen to the new queens (which I love) and the new mondo.
