Great CD
Strong sound, great tone. Outstanding performer / composer. I want more!
Rusted Root!!
I heard the new Rusted Root CD and on the Elvis cover this sax player laid down some nice stuff, including a high-energy solo --had to check this guy out. Turns out the sound on the Rusted Root CD wasn't a saxophone with an effects pedal. This is really how he sounds; this is one of the most identifiable saxophone sounds I have ever heard. The tracks here really showcase his tone and ability to compose. A DEFINITE DIAMOND IN THE ROUGH!!!

Outstanding debut album by one of the great up and coming tenor players on the modern jazz scene. Features impressive playing by Yoffee, as well as Gary Thomas, George Colligan, and Sean Jones. A must have!!!
