Holy Cow! This band reminds me why I started listening to music!
With the exception of New Found Glory, Have Heart, and Bayside, I have never instantly taken so much to a band like I have to Half Hearted Hero. And that is pretty damn great company to be in if I say so myself. They aren't your typical "pop punk whatever" genre band that graces the cover of magazines and website featured story slots. They have this new twist in their tunes that hooked me. I couldn't put a finger on it, but I am so grateful for the day I decided to play this record. Please buy this album. I can only see them getting better from here.

There's just something different about Half Hearted Hero. They are a fast paced pop-punk band, and this album is leaps and bounds better than their EP, Home. Something about this cd just really appeals to me. Maybe is the fast riffs, and the catchy vocals. The lyrics are well written too. The only problem is that this album drags on a bit. But the earlier songs pack a mean punch, the ladder follow up, but nothing is quite as memorable.
Recommended for fans of: The Swellers, Title Fight, and Daggermouth

Sounds like a mix of All Time Low and Blink 182 :)
